The Poem For centuries the paper lied,
not with malice but with math—
a sphere pressed cruel and flat.
The north grew fat, the south grew small.
Now the lines are drawn again,
and Africa unfolds
like a lung taking its first full breath.
What we measure, we believe.
What we shrink, we forget.
See it whole. See it true.
The world was always this large.
We simply looked away.
